Here is a short video on how WHO is improving hospitals’ structural design to better cope with the medical pressures of the Covid-19 pandemic, hoping to make use of these case studies to build the ‘Hospital of Tomorrow’, which will mark the beginning of the reform of health system.
Globalization is one of the key challenges facing health policy-makers and public health practitioners; however, there is no consensus on the mechanisms or appropriate policy responses to deal with the impact of globalisation on health.
Whenever there are global health crises (such as the current Covid-19 pandemic), these crises have global causes and consequences and have far-reaching consequences for global health. Nevertheless, globalization has its bright, as it inspires a sense of solidarity and shared responsibility for health.
The World Health Organisation (WHO), drawing on the lessons and experience of the past few months in dealing with the pandemic, is working closely with experts, governments and partners around the world to be able to respond better, rapidly and precisely to this kind of global health crisis in the future.
